A Magical Getaway | ||
---|---|---|
Summary: After staying up for too long following Oshiro to make sure she's okay, Strimla falls asleep on the job. When awakened, however, it seems that someone has an idea that they think the entire Magical Girl team needs. Who: Gundham, La Pucelle, Marion Whicker, Miyu, Oshiro, Robin C, Usami When: A Magical Getaway Where: Mijikai Street, Jabberwock Island |
Its been a few days since the failed spell attempt. The physical changes to her appearance haven't exactly disappeared. She's Her skin is darker around her hands and feet, not to mention around her hips and bum. Whats more has a knot on her forehead. Like she's bumped it pretty hard. She's not been able to heal herself though. Not with the rough state she has been in. Its starting to wear on her physically. She is definitely starting to feel the dispair from the whole situation. On top of this, Oshiro has had a shadow for the past week. A Shadow she's noticed on several occasions. This didn't bother her so much. In Fact, she found it kinda fun. She hasn't seen her shadow for a few hours so, that has lead her here. Up on the roof top, she looks down on Robin. She gives him a little nudge with her foot, "Some guardian angel. Passing out on a random rooftop? You're lucky its me finding you and not some crazy hairbrained monster wanting to nibble on magical types." Robin rolls over from the nudge, then takes a few seconds to react any further. His eyes snap open and he sits up quickly, looking around bleary eyed as he tries to make sense of where he is, what's going on, and who the shape that his eyes aren't quite focussing on very well just yet is. "I, uh... Oshiro... Hi," he says a bit dumbly... though really far more groggily. "Uhhh... Sorry..." he manages to get out before making his way back up to his feet. Is he appologizing for tailing her, or for utterly failing at tailing her the past... well, he doesn't know how long? It's hard to say... but both is a safe bet. Oshiro looks at Robin and smirks, "I was starting to worry, You know, I was kinda getting attached to having a tail." She sighs. "You should go rest. I'm not going to turn into a witch over night. You'll know if it happens. From what I've been told, Its a huge power thing." She extends a hand, offering to help him up. She isn't wearing gloves or anything so the darker flesh can easily be seen. "Come on." A large, quetzalcoatl suddnly flies up over the side of the bulding. However, it lands with surprizing quietness on the far sidde of the building from the two of them. A silently, figure, fully hidden in black armor seems to be riding upon it's back, but the figure makes no move to react to the two, instead, the magical creature moves it's tail to prop up a ...television(?) where they can see it. Though for a short moment, there is nothing on that television. Robin sighs, slumping visibly. "It's not just about you turning into a witch, it's also..." He trails off, then shakes his head. "Sorry I didn't... purposefully let you know I was there, but... I wasn't sure if you wanted to be left alone, or if you... I don't know. I guess I'm kind of at a loss in all this." He isn't too proud, however, to not take the hand to get up, though he does look worried about the discoloration, his eyes pausing on it for a few seconds too many. As he gets to his feet, he starts asking, "So what d-" This is of course cut off by the large feathered snake that suddenly made its presence known. He blinks wearily at it before reaching behind his back... but no, he's still Robin, so instead that hand moves around to the front of his chest where he grips the air. "...Uhhh... Hello?" he asks the thing, then glances at Oshiro with a look of utter confusion, seeing if there's any spark of recognition from her. Oshiro looks at Robin curiously, "Its a long story. Will expla... " She looks at the weird creature and its rider. Without thinking she brings out her soul gem. The black strand in it has grown to encompass a third of the soul gem. With a quick motion, she throws the soul gem into the air. Music picks up as her own personal lightshow starts. Her clothing quickly changes to her magical girl attire. a Staff forms in her hand and then things go back to normal. "Who are you?" She asks the black clad rider. The tv comes to live in a slow, staticy kind of POP, like the reverse of when you turn an old tv with bad reception off. Appearing on said screen is a figure that's very minorly familiar to one of the two here. Said figure is what looks like a partially anthropomorphic push bunny rabbit who's dressed up like a magical girl, while her location appears much like a class room of sorts. "Hello, hello," the bunny greets cheerfully, "I'm Magical Miracle Girl * Usami, aka Usami! I'm a little girl who's heard lots about you and thinks you could REALLY use a friendship retreat vacation on Jabberwock Island!" The figure doesn't speak, but offers a reluctant, shy seeming wave. La Pucelle is doing her usual patrol jumping from building to building while she munches on some Pocky. She wanted a snack. She on one of the lower building set apart from the skyscrapers. She looks around spotting the odd large looking bird which has a televion set near it, and now it running an advertisement. "This town is so weird..", she says sitting down on the side of the building. She not hiding her presence, so she easy to spot the bird with the tv has caught her off guard. Robin takes a few seconds again to really react to this... thing. "Wait, didn't you land on me once?" At this point he might be confusing reality with a dream he had at one point, but yes, he does vaguely remember running into Usami one time. "Friendship... retreat vacation?" It sounds like something Rainbow Dash and her friends would do. He looks back to Oshiro and says, "I don't... think it's a threat?" Oshiro blinks, "A Vacation?" She idly rubs her forehead, namely that odd knot there. "Really?" She shakes her head, "If you've heard a lot about me, you'd know that within a few weeks time, I will be dead or a threat to you all. Wouldn't it be better to just try to find a solution to this nightmare?" She sighs and shakes her head. With no warning she springs off the roof top and lands on another. She may be just slightly flustered over the whole idea of a distraction. Usami nods on the other side of the screeen. "Yes," she replies with a slight blush, "Sorry again!" "But...my little magical girl abilities have me very worried about you magical girls out there in Neo Tokyo, so I'm giving you all an invitation to come to Jabberwock Island as soon as possible." She waves a plushie stub at Oshiro's statement. "That's exactly the sort of reason why I am asking you to come for a free stay! You're swimming in despair out there!" La Pucelle jumps down. "I guess this applies to me too", she hope she didn't surprise Oshiro and Robin to badly. She smiles and waves at Oshiro and Robin. "hello.", she looks back at the tv. "Thought I don't know if I'm swimming in Despair.. But maybe a getaway wouldn't be a bad idea.." Robin reaches out a hand as Oshiro jumps off again, nowhere near close enough to actually make a grab for her if that was even what his intent was. "Oshiro, Wai-!" He then winces before slumping his shoulders as she's practically already gone. He looks back to the image of Usami, his shoulders as slumped as they can be at this point. "...She's... too restless. She won't stop. She's looking for a solution to the point where I think she'd miss it if she found it..." He looks back down at where Oshiro jumped to, then flat out jumps back three feet as La Pucelle lands nearby. There's a slight stumble, but he does manage to keep to his feet. "I, uh, hi?" he manages to get out. La Pucelle watches Oshiro go. "I didn't even get a chance to say hi.", she looks to Robin. "Ahh sorry. So that Orshio huh? or was.", she hms pondering whether to follow her or not proably be a bad idea as Oshiro doesn't know her at al. Oshiro sighs softly as she sits down on the edge of the building she had landed on. It is becoming very clear that she's losing hope. Everything is spinning out of control for her and its not exactly something she can just take a step back from. Tears fill her eyes as she draws out her soul gem once more. Her gaze locked on the partially black mostly clear gem. She gets out a grief seed and touches it to the gem. It does cleanse some of what is there but the black remains. She does it again. Then again. "Please... PLEASE. CLEAN IT DAMN YOU!" She cries out. Usami shakes her head at La Pucell's comment. "Oshiro is battling despair. You other girls could use a friendship camp though..." The whole being stuck communicating through a screen thing seems to have made her delayed in realizing Oshiro left till Robin calls after her. "Oh no..." And then Robin chases after. She hesitantly looks back toward La Pucelle. "We need to get her. She's not in good shape..." That said, the quetzalcoatl snaps it's tail around the screen as it turns back off much faster than it turned on. The tail then moves to try and offer itself to La Pucelle like a ladder of sorts, on to it's back. Robin hadn't actually chased after her yet, but was about to... Usami shakes her head at La Pucell's comment. "Oshiro is battling despair. You other girls could use a friendship camp though..." The whole being stuck communicating through a screen thing seems to have made her delayed in realizing Oshiro left till Robin calls after her. "Oh no..." She hesitantly cuts things short. "We need to get her. She's not in good shape..." That said, the quetzalcoatl snaps it's tail around the screen as it turns back off much faster than it turned on. The tail then moves to try and offer itself to La Pucelle and Robin like a ladder of sorts, on to it's back. La Pucelle climbs on. "I can move pretty fast but I think your a bit faster. Go.", she get a pretty serious look on face. Magical girl should be full of hope not walling in despair. Robin finally actually grips his hand in front of his chest, twisting his hand as if around an invisible knob. It's like liquid metal comes from there, streaming around him like ribbons. They completely enclose him, seemingly covering every inch before tightening to match her body shape before retracting into the armored top, skirt, boots and bracers of the one and only Steel Valkyrie Strimla. Strimla isn't perhaps at her strongest thinking moment, so she doesn't go for the ladder, but instead jumps after Oshiro more directly. "Oshi!" she calls out, landing nearby. "It's... it's not working that way. Twilight and the others, they're working on another solution." At least she hopes they are. She can't imagine Twilight Sparkle giving up on this, ever. "I think... I think you need to turn your mind away from it, if just for a little bit... Maybe this would help?" Oshiro looks at Strimla and just continues to cry. "Fine! I don't want to turn into a witch. You know I was trying to make another deal with Kyubey? I was trying to do anything to get out of this. I put a hole in the wall of my apartment because I got so upset. I've denied it and everything else. I don't know what else to do. I know Twi is working on it. The last spell made me look all funky. I just... I hope something works." With Robin going after Oshiro on her own, the large quetzalcoatl flies upward and quickly wraps around the building that Oshiro and Robin have moved to. "And hope is what that infernal plush rabbit is trying to offer," a familiar (to Oshiro at least) voice says from...the quetzalcoatl? ...No, it's from that person hiding in the black armor. Meanwhile, elsewhere, Rose opens the door to the apartment and then just stares blankly at the hole in the wall. "....What the..." Strimla reaches out a hand towards Oshiro. She's not going to force anything on the other magical girl. She wants to be supportive, not forceful. "I took your hand to help me get up. Take mine and we can try something else entirely to help you. Forget Kyubei. He got you into this mess, he'll never help you get out." She then looks over her shoulder as the armored figure speaks up finally. Marion is currently just wandering around the city, enjoying an unexpected day off of work. She was stirred from her idle thoughts by the sound of people speaking, and finds herself wandering over to investigate, coming upon some kind of magical girl shindig. She gives Strimla a wave. "Howdy Strim. Looks like I'm a bit late to the party on this one, huh?" La Pucelle jumps off the quetzalcoatl into the roof of the building. "I know I might be budding in here. But you need a break away from this town.", if Pucelle ever meets this Kyubei She will make him pay. Oshiro looks at Strimla and takes a deep breath. "Fine." She accepts the hand reluctantly. She sighs and looks around. "I don't know what to do anymore. Maybe I should just accept what is happening and get it overwith." She states with a rather dark look in her eyes. The quetzalcoatl's tail brings the tv screen up again. "Ah, there's just the other girl I was looking for. Magical Miracle Girl * Usami's luck is high today," comes from the tv as it struggles back to life and slowly brings the bunny magical girl back into view, "All four of you are invited to the friendship retreat on Jabberwock Island! Please board my student's flying snake and everything will be on it's way." Robin says very firmly, "NO. Don't just accept it. But your mind is cloudier than mine is right now." He expression then softens. "You just... need to take a break. If the worst is to happen, at least get some final good memories in." She looks back to the Quetzalcoatl and La Pucelle and nods... then blinks as she hears another familiar voice. "Marion?" she asks, then glances in the blonde's direction. She then looks back to the quetzalcoatl and finally nods. "...It's almost like fate just brought us all here at once." Marion arches a brow at the tv and the...bunny? "Wait...what?" She blinks a couple times before shrugging. "Ya know what? Screw it, no sense in questioning why." She rolls her shoulders, figuring transforming now would be the prudent thing to do. Marion Whicker grasps her necklace while muttering something under her breath before becoming engulfed in a flash of warm sunlight. Standing in her place is Sunlight Ranger White. La Pucelle looks at Oshiro. "Don't say things like that! You should never give up! You have people around her that are worried about you! They will find a way.", She offer her hand out to her. "Not like you ever going to get a change to fly on the back of a bird..thing." Marion, now in the form of Sunlight Ranger White, realizes that she's still hopelessly lost as to what's happened in her absence, and thus turns to Strimla for answers. "So, Strim, ya think you could fill me in on what exactly I missed?" Oshiro frowns and nods, "I guess." She nods to Robin. Her attention goes to La Pucelle and she frowns some more. "Its hard not to. Everything inside me is saying to just give in. The darkness is just growing more and more. I can't keep fighting it off like this." SHe does however accept the hand to get on the back of the Quetzalcoatl. Usami says, "Well, all but one of you, but that's ok! She's already here!" ...given the armored figure on the quetzalcoatl's back has possibly revealed itself to Oshiro at least with it's way of speaking...He is silently twitching every time that the quetzalcoatl is refered to as anything but a quetzalcoatl. Robin looks to Marion and... looks lost for how to actually explain what's going on. "...Oshiro... let's just say... Not in every world is the offer to be a magical girl actually a good thing. In Oshiro's world... It leads to corruption, but no one is told that when they agree to do it. We're... okay, Twilight Sparkle is trying to find a permanant solution. I'm just doing what I can... which I wish was more." She climbs on as well, then looks back to Oshiro. "We'll find a way." Marion nods, hopping onto the winged serpent and turning to the new girl, giving her a thumbs up. "Well, then it sounds like things are gonna turn out alright. From what I here, Twilight's supposed to be some kinda prodigy, and you've got us to back you up, so don't worry too much." She gave a light hearted grin. La Pucelle smiles and hops onto the quetzalcoatl back as well. "Nothing better than spending some down time with some friends! I'm La Pucelle by the way." Oshiro looks at Marion and brings out her soul gem. "When this goes black I will be a very nasty threat to everyone here." The thick black strand in it takes up a third of it with ease. "The clock is ticking. At this rate, I have a week, maybe two before I lose myself. " She looks at the massive snake-bird and idly pets it. "This thing is kinda cute." Marion_Whicker pages, "Btw, you're not in Strim form." to you. Without further issue, the quetzalcoatl wraps the television in it's tail as it turns off once again. Making sure all it's riders are in secure spots, it then takes off, flying over the ocean and landing on a set of small islands.... Jabberwock Island The quetzalcoatl would drop the girls off here before flying off to who knows where.... S. V. Strimla blinks and looks around... Someone likely had to prop her up at some point, because during that flight she probably dozed off again. She grimaces again, making a mental note that she needs to sleep more. La Pucelle was going whoo and this is great the whole trip! She hops off the quetzalcoatl. "whoo that was great!" Marion glanced around as they were dropped off, uncertain just what they had gotten into. The island just looked and felt, weird, as enjoyable as the ride on an aztec serpent thing was. "So...what now?" Oshiro spent much of the trip petting the birbsneck and staring blankly into the horizon. She may have been holding up Robin as well... S. V. Strimla mumbles a bit blearily, "Sorry," to Oshiro. At least she knows she almost fell off the quetzalcoatl at one point. She then looks about and nods to Marion. "...Yeah, my thoughts exactly..." La Pucelle looks around the landscape. "I'm not sure what happens now. We could really use a guide." After a few moments the bunny figure from the tv appears before them in person. "Hello everyone," she greets, "Welcome to Jabberwock Island! I asked you here to try and help all of you out with hope and friendship! Those are important for magical girls and it seems like most of you need a bit of help with that...and some of you just need a rest." She smiles and gestures toward the first island. "Since you all came like asked, you're all free to come or go as you please, as long as I can try to help! But while you're here, you can stay in the Hotel Mirai for rest until we're ready to start. ...I was going to get right to work, but it won't do any good to run you girls ragged! So we can start with business later! For now, Hotel Mirai is this way!" That said, she starts her little plushie wobble toward the island labeled island one. S. V. Strimla blinks, following along for a few steps before saying, "Uhhh... question... you know that half of us, uh... aren't actually girls, right?" She doesn't stop following, mind you. Normally she wouldn't have 'outed' La Pucelle like that, but she's not exactly at her best right now. Usami nods. "Yes, but that doesn't change that you're still magical girls where it counts!" Marion's eyes narrow ever so slightly, but she shrugs it off for now. To her, this just felt like a trap, but for now she had no proof of her suspicions, and she wasn't about to make an ass of herself only to find out she was just overly cynical. Three years of magical girling it up could leave one just a tad jumpy when offered anything out of seemingly nowhere. She follows along, sticking by Strimla in case things actually do go belly up and it becomes some kind of fight. "Is there supposed to be some kind of catch? It seems like there should be a catch. I mean, what exactly did we do to deserve this?" Oshiro follows along making her way to the hotel. She doesn't exactly care that some of the people present are in fact guys when they aren't magical girls. Why would that make a difference. Its not like they are floating in a hot tub. Thats when it would get awkward.: She looks to Marion and frowns, "I apparently made a deal with a devil to deserve this." She shrugs. La Pucelle follows at laughs nervously at Strimla comment. "I can stay in this form if everyone more comfortable with it.", she looks around. "Ahh I should have brought a swimsuit.." S. V. Strimla nods slowly to Usami. "I... guess so." She then looks to Marion. "Urg... well, I'm not reading anything off about her. I'm no Jeremy," she says, referrign to the rogue she travelled with for a while, "But I'm not really getting any trap vibes about this, honestly." She then sighs and reaches out a hand to squeeze Oshiro's shoulder if allowed, then winces at La Pucelle's comment. "Er... Sorry." Usami says, "Catch? There's no Catch, unless you count participating in the friendship retreat!" By now she's across the bridge and coming up on the hotel. "Right over here..."" S. V. Strimla says, "....Okay, now I'm starting to worry about what the 'friendship retreat' actually is." Marion looks around, still not buying this saccharine getaway. "That makes two of us. Are you sure this doesn't feel off Strim?" She turns to the Steel Valkyrie, looking for some guidance. Oshiro looks down as she moves towards one of the rooms. "Better to wind up a witch in a place like this then to wind up one in the city. At least here there are less people I can hurt." She mutters softly. Yup. Losing hope. La Pucelle oohs and ahhs looking around. "Wow!", she looks at Oshiro and marion. "Cheer up you two! If this is some sort of trap I'm sure we can handle it! Not that I think it is.." S. V. Strimla shrugs lightly. "If I've learned anything in my time adventuring... sometimes you just go with the flow... We didn't tell Olaf to just get bent because he was a vampire. We went off on his quest to kill his mistress. We didn't really question when that airship captain asked us for help finding his princess. We took to that quest in full, despite the fact that it meant we bacme targets of Scarblight..." She reaches to her side, remembering the feeling of getting torn to shreds. Twice. "Well, not everything went well with that one, but... in the end it was okay?" S. V. Strimla winces again at Oshiro's muttering. Usami says, "...the friendship retreat is a friendship retreat. Excersizes in learning friendship, teamwork, and gaining hope! You can stay in any of these rooms you like, as long as there's not already a face on the door." That said there are only two doors with faces, both being someone familiar to at least some of the group. A certain, little magical girl with black hair held in white barrets, and a certain guy with skunk colored ice cream cowlicked hair and mismatched red and grey eyes, with a scar over the grey eye. She frowns as people are doubting her already. "It's honest," she insists, "I am just trying to help... And we can at least do something about that, Oshiro! Hang in there, we'll ALL do our best!"" S. V. Strimla blinks, actually recognizing both those faces. "Miyu's already here? Okay, honestly, that makes me think it's a trap less." Odd that she kind of sees Miyu as being a voice of reason and competency. Marion shrugs, not entirely willing to drop her guard, but deciding to at least keep silent about her suspicions for the mean time. She turns to Oshiro, placing a hand on her shoulder and flashing a confident grin. "Don't worry about it Osh, we're not gonna let you turn into some witch thing. Twilight's on the case, and I'm sure we can fix this if we put our heads together, so chin up, alright? You're not going anywhere, anytime soon." Oshiro forces a smile and nods, "It will be okay. We're going to look back at this and laugh." SHe smiles again and moves toward the swimming pool. With a little magic she manipulates her uniform to be a bit more of a magical bikini. She promptly hops in and begins swimming around. Usami says, "You're all free to explore the islands as you like, but do be careful about the last island. You're allowed to go there, but it's a bit dangerous. I'm still trying to fix the damage that my stupid head fake brother did to it! You guys are all free to do as you want, just please come back for the retreat if you decide to go somewhere else!"" S. V. Strimla steps over to one of the empty rooms and takes a peek inside of it. "Uhhh... will we need swimsuits," she asks. "Because the only clothes I have on me are... this and my guy clothes." She then laughs once, tiredly. "What am I saying. I don't even own a swimsuit for either form." She then sighs, turning around to lean back against the wall by the door as she watches Oshiro head to the pool. "...That's a useful ability. I have to actually change my clothes." She has been known to go out and about as Strimla lately, afterall. This sudden change, it's like a removal of a stress... She'd taken it on herself to keep an eye on Oshiro, and now with the others here, she clearly doesn't have to do it as often. She once again closes her eyes, but doesn't want to fall asleep. Not yet. "Exercises in learning friendship, teamwork, and hope. I didn't... ' 'think I needed help with those things. I've always worked better as part of a team. I... thought I was making friends well... but now that I think about it... Belldandy called me out on not sharing this part of me with a number of them." She then opens her eyes and looks back to Usami with a frown. "....Yeah, I probably shouldn't call out of work again tomorrow..." Marion sweat drops at that, realizing that she'd need to call out of work, as well as come up with an excuse her boss would buy. "Heh, I should probably do that too." She pulls out her phone and walks off to the side to call one of her coworkers. La Pucelle watches Oshiro change. "That's pretty handy! I can't do that..", she hms at Usami'a comment. "well I could use a refresher in those..", she sighs. "Maybe I been a bit too isolated since coming here..", it not that she doesn't want to make friends but she has been doing the magical girl by herself too much? is she pushing people a bit to hard? She ponders this as she looks around the hotel area.. At Strimla's statement, Usami magics her up a set of swimwear and a generic boy's outfit. "There's a store near here if you want to pick clothing of your own, but for now here you go!" She doesn't say as much, but the economy here is run on Usami's magic instead of money, giving money for items is more optional than in normal life. Oshiro continues swimming around. Its rather relaxing. for the time, she lets her weary mind settle a little and just enjoys the water. "MMmm This is nice." She dives under, getting her hair wet and letting it cool her down. S. V. Strimla blinks and looks at the clothes left for her. "...I've got my own clothes if I change back to a guy..." She lets it go unsaid that that will happen anyway if she falls asleep... She thinks everyone knows that already here anyway. "But... I guess this will be good. I've not gone swimming in a while, anyway." She looks around, then ducks into a room, claiming it and getting herself changed. Given Usami's seeming magical nature, she's assuming the suit fits her? She still investigates it in the room, making sure there's nothing fishy about it. "...What I'd give for Magnis' ability to sense magic right now..." She sighs and gets changed. La Pucelle makes a note to go the store later and check out what they have for clothing.. S. V. Strimla steps out, wearing a black one peice swimsuit. Somehow, despite the fact that this actually covers more of her body than her normal outfit(if one ignores the usual bracers and boots, at least), she looks a bit embarrassed by this. "Well..... Let the... friendship lessons begin?" she says with a nervous smile as she makes her way to the pool. Usami says, "Given how exausted some of you are, the first lesson is just to relax and have fun together. It's no good trying to do a team exercise when you're falling over!" Strimla sighs and hangs her head. "I suppose that's my fault. Sorry, guys." Oshiro just keeps swimming Just keeps swimming. Just keeps swimming swimming, what does she do? She swims. Usami says, "You were trying to take care of Oshiro just like most of the rest of us! That's ok!" After calling out of work, Marion finds that she doesn't really know what to do next. She doesn't really trust this whole thing yet, but she also doesn't want to be a stick in the mud...ugh, she hated having to be so cautious and junk. That was Green's job, now she's got to pretty much be every single role at once. Though, wasn't that the point of this? That she was part of a new group, with new roles? That thought just made her wish she was back home, with the rest of the gang. Marion just decides to find a decent chair and sit down for a bit, she needed some time to think. Usami says, "Since I'm letting you rest I'll go back home, but if you need me, just activate any of the screens on the island!" Strimla slips into the pool as well, immediately dipping underwater entirely before coming back up. She shakes her head, the cold water working to wake her up some. "Wooo... I've not swum at all since I've gotten here!" She then ducks under the water and swims for a bit under water. She looks fairly practiced at it. Clearly, even though she's from a medeival world, she knows how to swim! Now at the opposite side of the pool, she pops back up for air again, looking around for Oshiro, then over to her roommate seated in a chair. "...You okay there, Mari?" Marion looks up, a grin replacing her frown with ease. "Y-yeah, I'm fine. Just, thinking about some stuff, that's all." Miyu steps out of a swirling silver portal that appears in midair, and closes just as suddenly behind her. Oshiro quietly floats on her back, letting the water dull the noise around her. The sound of silence is almost deafening to her. She quietly floats on the water letting herself just relax. She might even fall asleep if she didn't have to worry bout drowning. Strimla decides that Oshiro looks far more relaxed than she's seen her look... since she ever met her. She feels like she just shouldn't disturb the purple-haired magical girl, though she does watch her for a moment before looking around. "Where'd La Pucelle go?" she asks. "And from that door, Miyu was here, right? Wonder where she is..." Miyu comes out of the cottage asigned to her, rubbing at her eyes as she does so. The light's so bright it's blinding, having just come out of the cottage like that. Hearing the voices, she wanders off toward the swiming pool, bringing the younger girl to look over all the older magical girls swimming. ...thankfully she's had some time to calm down and think over the situation. This seems nothing like her times with the people who kidnapped her. Her brother isn't being held captive and tortured, people aren't trying to do wierd rituals on her, her friends are safe instead of having to fight to find her... She STILL doesn't feel like she can trust that talking plush though. Who knows WHO that 'cute' thing REALLY is! "...hello," she greets wearily with a little bow. La Pucelle is here just wandering around. She wandered a bit from the pool not too far thought. She just lost in thought. "oh!" ,she says coming out of trance hearing Miyu voice. "Oh your here too?" Marion stirs from her thoughts at the sound of someone else joining their little troupe. She offers a wave and a grin. "Howdy." Strimla waves back. "Hey! Miyu!" She looks around, then whistles. "...Wow. All five us here in one place... Uhhh... have you all met each other before? Do we need real solid introductions around?" Marion shrugs, standing up. "We might as well, what with how scarcely we interact as a group, if at all." Oshiro can just barely hear the muffled commotion. She opens her eyes and then rights herself in the water. "Oh umm. Hi." In her bikinied body its very clear to see the odd markings on her body. The flamed marks on her hands and feet and the spotted marks on her hips and bottom. She doesn't say anything about it though. "Hello. I'm Oshiro Rio. Puella Magi." Strimla stands up fully in the water as well. "I think everyone knows me well enough already? Robin Caldworth, also known as the Steel Valkyrie Strimla." La Pucelle walks over to the pool. "I'm Souta Kishibe but you can call me La Pucelle in this form." Marion stands somewhat taller, grinning as she introduces herself. "I'm Marion Whicker, known as Sunlight Ranger White when I'm on the clock." Strimla says, "Oh, uh, Marion's also been crashing at my apartment for the past... Month or so?" She looks at Marion as if asking for confrimation on the time frame." It's DEFFINETLY different than all the other times she'd been taken away somewhere. Miyu calms a little more. "Emiya Miyu, magical girl in charge of capturing class cards...I have no special magical girl name that's assigned to me, though, given the nameing themes of the other magical girls that have used the wands, I'm probably something like Kaliedo Sapphire if I'm supposed to be called anything different? Sorry, secret identities weren't really so important in the way we handled things... I have a quality about me that caused people to kidnap me a few times." La Pucelle says, "How about just Sapphire then Miyu when were out in public? Gem names always sound cool."" Strimla leans on the side of the pool as she points out, "But Sapphire is her wand's name. That'd be like calling me Gnistra, except my sword doesn't talk." La Pucelle oohs. "Good point." Miyu nods toward Strimla. "My mentore was called Kaleido Sapphire and my friend's mentor was called Kaliedo Ruby when they used Sapphire and Ruby....but I probably need a different name so it doesn't get confusing....it's not so important to me, so there's no rush. "No secret identities for me because I don't work in view of the public most of the time. Usually if I am found out, someone was hurt or wounded. So, Yeah. There is that." Oshiro shrugs and dives down into the water to wet herself a little more. Strimla lowers her head somewhat so her mouth is underwater, where she blows bubbles for a few seconds before coming back up. "Is that inconsistency a problem? Like... in keeping us from bonding as a team?" She does look back to Oshiro when she says this. She tried to recruit Oshiro when the two first met, and she's still not stopped. She fully intends to have Oshiro around a month from now! ...Even if there's nothing Strimla can actually do about that personally, other than maybe help her get some hope? "Or is it something that doesn't matter, and just keeps our individuality? I mean, pretty clearly none of us have powers that are remotely related to each other. Unless you cound Pucelle and me swinging huge swords." La Pucelle shakes her head. "I don't think that really a problem Strimla... We just need to find a cool team name!" Marion shrugs. "Well, we're kinda scrounging up a magical girl team from fragments of other magical girl teams and solo players, so I think inconsistency is kinda our thing." Strimla nods. "Inconsistency is definitely our thing. Buuuuut, that makes giving us a name all the more difficult, doesn't it?" Miyu tiltes her head at Strimla's question. "Is thinking up code names for eachother something teams usually do? And I can swing big swords if I have a class card with that sort of skill...sof ar that isn't the case though. Archer uses poisonus arrows, Rider uses the carriage I don't know how to controll yet...Lancer has the spears and the strange mark on the face...I haven't tried avenger yet cause big brother thinks it'll be too dangerous to use rashly...." La Pucelle says, "Well I think either code names are something that is give to you or you pick for yourself, Miyu." Strimla tilts her head before shaking it. "Back in my world, I was the only one that ever used a code name. I guess because of the transformation? But then again, Mizore had an even more extreme transformation, and she didn't bother changing her name." Marion groaned at the thought of having to go all secret identity all over again. "Like I said, I was called Sunlight Ranger White, and I was part of a team. I personally don't care about having a codename, since I only really ever kept my Ranger stuff a secret so the others weren't discovered by proxy." Strimla holds up her hands. "We don't need to worry about secret identities! It just makes it easier for La Pucelle and myself because... less needing to explain to people we don't want to explain it to that we swap genders to go fighting." La Pucelle says, "I like my secret identity name! I thought it was pretty cool", she hms. "I'm going to look to see what clothing they have at the store. ..and pick up some snacks.",she leaps heading off toward the direction that Usami pointed where the store was." Marion nods, sighing in relief. "Good, so you can just call me Marion, or Mari, or something sun related if ya really need to." Miyu waves after La Pucelle. "Ok, I didn't mean to cause anything...it just seems like people worry when I tell them I'm just called Miyu and don't bother to hide who I am between forms..." Strimla says, "I think it's just because it's unusual. In the few of the, uh, 'manga' I've read, they all have a different names when they're magical girls." Okay, so he's just read some of Sailor Moon, but still. Marion finds herself lost in thought, thinking back to her own team's debate over names and such. | |
