Questions should be directed to staff.

Gonfei is right where he's most predictable to be. Behind the bar! He's currently looking slightly bored, as the people currently at the bar are engaged in a spirited conversation with each other that sounds to be gossip about someone they know, and they're not ordering any drinks.

Skeeve appears in that usual burst of smoke, arm in arm with Ari, as they stroll up towards the bar. He offers a casual wave over to Gonfei. "Good evening!"

Ari smiles rather happily as they walk to the bar, waving to Gonfei as well. "Hi!"

Gonfei smiles at the pair and gives them a wave. "Goooood evening, Ari, Skeeve. What can I do for you tonight?"

Skeeve slips onto a barstool, pats his knee lightly. To Gonfei, he replies cheerily, "Feed me, Seymour."

Ari grins, hopping into Skeeve's lap. The usual. To Gonfei, she says, "I would absolutely love some ratatouille, please! With some poutine, because right now that sound awesome. Oh! And a house salad, no meat, with extra bleu cheese." she nods.

Gonfei nods to Ari, jotting the order down before looking to Skeeve. "Now, do you want to be more specific? Or do you want me to surprise you?"

Skeeve tucks his arm around Ari's waist, and cheerily replies, "Just the special will be fine. Or surpise me, either way's good."

Ari smirks, leaning back into Skeeve. "Are we sure a surprise is a good idea?" she chuckles.

Gonfei grins. "You... don't want some of the surprises I could find for you. I'll get you today's special." He jots it down and heads back to turn in the order. Nope, he doesn't seem to be telling Skeeve just what it is yet. He returns to the two soon enough, though of course without food just yet. That takes the staff time. "So how're things going with the two of you?

Skeeve snickers a little bit at that. "Well, probably not, but I'm pretty sure they don't serve Pervish food here, so it can't be *that* bad." He grins a little, twisting in his seat to lean against the bar casually. "Pretty solid, actually. We're doing well."

Ari leans back into Skeeve happily. "What he said. It's been going rather amazingly."

Gonfei maintains his grin at Skeeve. "Then next time I'll get you a BLT. Hint: It's not Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato." He then looks between the two and nods. "Well, it's good to hear you're doing well. How's the night club going along?" He holds up a finger as he hears the call for Ari's salad. Stepping back to retrieve it, he soon returns.

Skeeve is quiet for a moment at that. "Now you have me wondering, and it's not pleasant. I immediately regret being adventurous."

Sonya materializes in the room in a flash of white light.

Ari snickers a little at Skeeve. "Well, adventurous isn't all that bad, is it?" she winks, then looks back to Gonfei. "Great! I'll be open next week."

Gonfei slides the salad in front of Ari. "Well, I've only seen one person ever order it... though she claims it's a very popular sandwich." He shrugs. "I prefer mine to be less... squirmy." He then smiles, then leans in slightly towards Ari (which, of course means towards Skeeve as well). "Well then. Did you ever find someone to man the bar there?"

Skeeve is sitting at the bar, chatting with Gonfei, and Ari is perched on his lap. He makes a face, paling a little bit. "Yeah, that sounds like Pervish food..." He shivers, his whole body shuddering.

Ari knows exactly the sandwich he's talking about, and even the memory makes her a little green. "Ew." she says then responds to Gonfei. "I have a couple of people hired. Probably need a few more." she nods.

Sonya enters the bar by pushing the doors open somewhat more forcefully than she needs to, though fortunately, that doesn't mean she knocks them off their hinges as she would normally do. The colossal Barbarian woman lumbers over to the counter proper and sits on a stool with a grunt, apparently not noticing anyone around just yet.

Gonfei shrugs lightly, then nods. "Ew indeed. Well, my offer still stands for part-time work," he says, then glances towards Sonya. "Evening, Miss. Anything I can get for you tonight?

Skeeve starts a little bit as Sonya slams the door open, glancing back, but as the hulking barbarian woman merely stalks up to the bar and takes a seat near them, he seems to calm down some. "So, you got some of your interviews done, then? Anyone we know?"

Ari nods to Gonfei. "I could use you." She looks at Skeeve. "Nope, townies, pretty much. But good people, I can tell." she smiles before starting to munch on her salad.

Sonya gives a sigh as the bartender addresses her though she seems cordial enough to greet him even if she doesn't necessarily look up at him. "Hail, Gonfei." She grunts and exhales again, removing her horned helmet from her head to rest it on the counter. "Not anything you can offer I am afraid. I do not suppose you have seen that Valkyrie around or Rainbow Dash by any chance?"

Skeeve returns the smile, idly snatching a piece of cheese off of Ari's salad and tossing it into his mouth. He glances over at the barbarian woman, and says, "Must be some Valkyrie if she gets away with calling herself Rainbow Dash."

Gonfei shakes his head to Sonya. "Sorry, but no. Not since the other night when the three of you were here. I get the feeling Rainbow Dash woke up the next morning with a lot of regret." He chuckles lightly, then glances back to Ari. "Well, I'll be there on my nights off from here, then." He then laughs again. "Ranbow Dash is one of those ponies that's been running around lately, Skeeve."

Ari laughs a little, still eating her salad quite contently on Skeeve's lap. Granted, it's one cheese cube less.

The Barbarian looks over her shoulder slowly to Skeeve when she hears him confuse Rainbow Dash for the Valkyrie Sonya is also looking for. She seems ready about to correct him when Gonfei does that for him and thus causes the Berserker to relax again, though still looking somewhat sullen about the response. "I see." She muses, disappointment in her voice. "Rainbow Dash will be fine, she is a durable mare." That's when Sonya seems to realize that Ari is present and she glances at her with wide eyes. "Ah, Ari. I did not see you there."

Skeeve blinks a few times at the response. "Ponies. As in... more than one. Huh." He shakes his head lightly at that, then glances up at Ari for a moment, then back at Sonya. "It was... Sonya, right? You seem familiar but I can't remember if we've been properly introduced."

Ari blinks at Sonya. "Oh, hi! Sorry, good salad." she smiles. "How are you, Sonya?"

Gonfei glances back as a bell rings behind him, then goes back to retreive the rest of Ari's order, as well as a pasta dish with salmon for Skeeve. His instincts to stay out of a conversation between patrons is keeping him silent for the moment.

"I am as I have been for a long time now." Sonya turns on her stool to face the couple, answering Ari first. "Immensely bored." She glances at Skeeve regarding him silently for a moment before speaking again. "I have been here for some time now, it could be that you saw me in passing." After all, Sonya is easy to pick in a crowd and she's used to people recognizing her due to her girth. "But no, I do not believe we have met properly."

Skeeve replies cheerily, as his food arrives, "Thanks, Gonfei." He leans in a little, offering a hand out to Sonya. "I'm Skeeve, Skeeve Plowse. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Ari coughs a little as she apparently ate a little too fast. "Gah, sorry. Bored's not good for anyone. I highly recommend not being bored." she nods.

Gonfei looks over Sonya, then says, "I'm assuming you've been to the Badlands? You look like you could easily handle yourself out there." He then laughs and shakes his head at Ari. "Slow down there."

"Well met, Skeeve." Answers the Barbarian with that simple bluntness that is somewhat common amongst her type. Despite being in the eccentric city of Neo Tokyo for a while now, Sonya still seems to be as non-verbose as ever. As such, she turns to look at Ari to answer just as brusquely. "I would not be if there were more worthy foes here to test my mettle." Sonya's blue pupils dilate softly before narrowing her eyes. "I see you are with your mate and with food, not the best time to challenge you to that duel." Finally, she turns back to the counter and her shoulders sag, peering at Gonfei from the corner of her eyes. "The Badlands are boring. No challenge. Even the green skins have left."

Skeeve turns his offered handshake into a casual wave, glances back at Ari with an amused smile. "Oh, so you two have a standing challenge, huh? Don't let me hold you back, by all means."

Gonfei glances between Ari and Sonya, then raises an eyebrow at Ari.

Ari shrugs a bit. "We're gonna spar at some point. But right now? Eating. Yeesh." she grins.

"Meals are a sacred time." Agrees Sonya who is still facing the other way and back towards the counter. "In particular when there is no animosity between the challengers." In fact, Sonya seems to change her mind and decides to partake on something since she happens to be at the bar. "Some mead for me, Gonfei."

Skeeve grins a little bit at that. "Aw... well, hopefully I'm there to see that." He starts picking away at the fish and pasta, and it doesn't take long for it to vanish as though by magic. Dabbing his lips lightly with a napkin, he replies, "My compliments to Sung Lo, that was delicious."

Gonfei smiles to Sonya and nods. "One Mead, coming up." He steps back to fill the tall mug with the fermented honey beverage. As he sets it down in front of the barbarian, he smiles to Skeeve. "Will do!"

Ari grins. "Sure, if you want to watch, I guess." she chuckles, working at the ratatouille. "If Sonya doesn't object."

"Of course not." Sonya smiles, the very talk of battle raising her spirits. "Battles are meant to be spectated. How else will the bards be able to sing the legends of warriors if they do not see their deeds?" When the mead is poured for her, she takes the large mug and raises it for a toast. "To future battles and glory!" She follows that with a hearty gulp of her drink.

Skeeve grins, mentally deciding that he rather likes this woman. Raising his water glass (it's a poor substitute), he echoes, "To glory." Draining the glass, he practically slams it down on the bar, though not hard enough to break anything. "Next round's on me. I'll have whatever your speciality is, Gonfei."

Ari looks and pouts when she realizes she doesn't have a drink. "Um. cherry soda, please?" she hehs.

Gonfei nods lightly to Sonya, but then grins to Skeeve. "Oh, really? Let me think of which one..." While he's considering this, he pours the cherry soda from the fountain for Ari. Soon, however, he takes a shot glass, and fills it with two parts coffee liqueur, one part butterscotch schnapps, and one part rum. He sets the drink down lightly in front of Skeeve, but motions for him to wait a moment. He taps the side of the glass, and the drink catches fire. "Flaming Giraffe. Enjoy!"

Rainbow_Dash comes trotting in...."Hey all," she greets with a wave of her hoof as she enters. "Hey Sonya, how's it going girl?" she smiles, making her way to the bar. "One large Cider, please." she asks.

Ari waves to the pegasus. "Hey Dash, how are you?" She takes a sip of the cherry soda, then looks to Skeeve. "It's been weeks, when can I drink again?"

Skeeve looks at the flaming glass with some interest, then murmurs a quick and quiet spell, then grabs the glass, tilts his head *way* back, and powers it back without putting it out first. Setting the glass down, he grins, and that's when Rainbow Dash comes in. He looks at the pony, then at the drink, then at the pony, then at Gonfei. "This is seriously stronger than it looks." He pauses for a moment at Ari's question, then chuckles a little, adds, "You've been pretty good lately. In moderation is okay."

"Ah, hail to you mare of the rainbow." Sonya cackles as she finishes half her drink purposely using the name Myst had given the pegasus earlier. "You seem to have shrugged off the hang over rather well."

Gonfei laughs at Skeeve's reaction to Rainbow Dash, then smiles at the pony. "Well, good to see you're feeling better now, Ms. Dash."

Rainbow_Dash says, "Heya, Ari! How's it goin'? she greets, then to Sonya, "Oh that!" she laughs, "I bounced back pretty quick...I just gotta watch what I chug down," she adds, "That's what I get for tryin' to show off." She nods to Gonfei, "Nothing a little crash in the hay couldn't fix."

"I knew you'd recover quickly." Nods the Berserker. "You have shown your formidable endurance in the past after all." Sonya chugs on the rest of her mead and wipes her mouth with her forearm. "Just be wary of what Valkyries offer you next time. They can give you a lot more than mead if you are not careful."

Skeeve, as the others address the pony, makes a few mental connections. "Oh, you were in the news a couple of weeks ago, weren't you? I seem to recall hearing about that."

Rainbow_Dash looks to Skeeve as she awaits her cider. "Equestria stuff if you got it," she says to Gonfei, jokingly. But if he does have it, it'd make her day. "Yeah...well...here and there," she grins, "I dunno if it was helping rescue my friend of fighting off a giant Monster, but, anyway, 'Names Rainbow Dash! What's your name?" she asks, slipping up to a nearby seat at the bar, her long tail touching the floor.

Sonya chuckles and goes quiet whilst nursing the rest of her mead. She seems to be satisfied merely watching Skeeve get acquainted with Rainbow Dash. Everyone should get to meet the energetic pegasus as far as she's concerned.

Ari looks at her now empty plates, then up at Gonfei. "So! Any pumpkin pie today?" Someone's rather hungry.

Skeeve offers his hand out in Dash's direction to shake... ...and halfway out there, he realizes he's being a moron and just waves instead. He's not having a very good day for that sort of thing. "I'm Skeeve, Skeeve Plowse. Pleasure's mine, I'm sure."

Gonfei soon returns with the cider for Rainbow Dash. "Sorry, not entirely certain where it's from." He nods to Ari, then heads off back again to retrieve a plate of the pie.

Rainbow_Dash says, "Hey, I can shake, no prob!" she shakes the offered hand with a blue hoof, "Nice to meetcha," she grins. "It'll do, Gonfei, thanks," she takes a big gulp of her cider; still missing the stuff from home, but it'll do." She wipes her lips with the back of her hoof."

Skeeve looks a little bemused at the experience of shaking a talking pegasus' hoof, but after a few moments of thought he realizes it's far from the strangest thing he's done... this week even. Slipping his arm back around Ari's waist, he says, "I hear you two kicked some ass the other day... something about rescuing one of your other friends?"

Ari snuggles into Skeeve's lap as she take a sip of the soda. "Yeah, no more pony-nappings, I hope!"

Gonfei returns with Ari's slice of Pie. "Well, I'm afraid my shift is over now, so you kids take care, okay?

Skeeve, at that, fishes a bill out of his pocket and stuffs it into the tip glass before Gonfei can scoop it up. "Yeah, you take it easy, okay?"

Rainbow_Dash says, "Take care, Gonfei!" she waves, then replies to Skeeve, "Yeah, somewacko...someone said "Brony" don't even know what that means kidnapped my friend Fluttershy, so Ari and I, Batman, um...Twilight and I forget who else all went to save her. It was pretty epic! And yeah, no more POny-napping so far. Maybe they got the hint? I dunno," she grins.
