 
After the success of Atmosfear, the first Atmosfear booster tape 'The Soul Rangers' was released. 'The Soul Rangers' explains that the Gatekeeper has been thrown into a black hole by the mysterious appearence of Dr. Mastiff. Mastiff is Soul Ranger equivenlent of the Gatekeeper. Mastiff releases the 6 "Special Soul Rangers" from beneath the 6 provincess and sends them out to take the Gatekeeper's keys and scatter them accross the Other Side, thus stipping him of his power.
