The Feyline are one of the other races to inhabit this world. Their lands lay across the sea. Generally about as tall as a human the feyline could never be confused for one. To start with the feyline's legs are different form a humans. They retain more of a haunch, the knees oriented backwards to what a humans would be and the foot is smaller. In effect the best idea of how their legs function would be to consider standing on the balls of your feet, the heels off the ground. Shorten the bones between your ankle and knee but lengthen the distance between the heel and the ball of the foot. This arrangement gives them incredible natural leaping ability easily surpassing a human. A feyline can easily do a standing leap of forty feet forward or upwards to a height of two stories. Other outstanding features are the ears which are pointed and while mounted on the side of the head can swivel in a limited fashion giving them a better sense when it comes to locating the origin of a sound though hearing is only marginally better than a humans. The eyes are slitted like a cats and can see better in low light while colour distinction is not as good as a humans. While often having a full head of hair the body is also covered in a fine short coat of fur that can bear a variety of natural markings. Feyline also have one last thing humans should be wary of. Feyline have retractable claws in the tips of their fingers and toes, remnants form their evolution. When retracted it makes the fingertips bulge slightly, when extended the claws extend only an inch at best but are sharp enough to cut fabric and flesh with little problem. Light armour like leather though is usually enough to stop them form being effective.
